MEET THE FOUNDERHi! My name is Sarah Balow. I'm a local Arkansas native from right here in the River Valley - born and raised, and stayed! I graduated with a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith in 2018, and I am currently in the process of sitting for the CPA exams. For the past 10 years, I have been working in accounting and related fields, including public accounting as well as commercial loan underwriting, banking, and some insurance and real estate. I believe this broad experience has given me a breadth of cross-industry knowledge that serves my clients well. |
COMPANY HISTORY
In 2022, I founded Balow Accounting Services because I saw the great need for accounting support for small businesses here in our local area: not just an annual tax filing to check the box with the IRS, but actual tax planning throughout the year and monthly bookkeeping to keep the entrepreneur tax and audit ready, and more importantly, sane!
As a fellow entrepreneur, I understand the struggles and joys of the many aspects of running a business, from cash flow management and payroll, to scaling growth while maintaining work-life balance, and everything in between.
