Meet the Team Behind Balow Accounting Services

    FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTANT

    Sarah founded Balow Accounting Services to help business owners gain confidence and clarity in their finances. She believes accounting should be personal, approachable, and built around relationships, not just numbers. Sarah enjoys partnering with clients to simplify financial processes, provide strategic guidance, and remove the stress of managing their finances so they can focus on growing their businesses.

    Outside the office, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys, serving her local community, and making memories with family.

    WHITNEY DIXON, CPA

    ACCOUNTING MANAGER

    Whitney is an Arkansas native and a 2013 graduate of the University of Arkansas–Fort Smith. She brings more than 13 years of experience in accounting, corporate finance, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A). After spending nine years working in the corporate world, she returned home to focus on what she enjoys most: partnering directly with business owners, building lasting relationships, and helping them make confident financial decisions that support long-term growth.

    When she's not working, Whitney enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and their three young children.

    CASSI WORK

    EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT & PAYROLL ADMIN

    Cassi serves as the executive assistant for Balow Accounting Services, managing payroll processing, client intake, and a variety of day-to-day firm operations. After 13 years in the dental field, she joined the accounting industry in 2025 to pursue a long-time career goal. She enjoys helping clients feel welcomed, supported, and cared for from their very first interaction with the firm.

    Outside the office, you'll usually find Cassi cheering on her kids at sporting events, spending time at the lake with her family, or serving in the children's ministry at her local church.

    BOOKKEEPER

    Kate serves as the bookkeeper for Balow Accounting Services, overseeing day-to-day financial records with accuracy and attention to detail. She enjoys organizing financial information and providing exceptional customer service so clients can have confidence that their books stay accurate, organized, and ready for whatever comes next.

    Outside of work, Kate enjoys genealogy research, painting, gardening, and spending time with her grandbaby.

    DANIEL BALOW

    TAX PREPARATION & CYBERSECURITY

    Daniel is married to the firm's founder and jokingly considers his primary role to be helping maintain her sanity. Since joining Balow Accounting Services full time in 2024, he has assisted with tax return preparation while serving as the firm's cybersecurity liaison, helping protect sensitive client information and ensuring the firm can continue serving clients with confidence and security.

    Outside of work, Daniel enjoys homeschooling his three boys alongside Sarah and working on projects around the family's growing farm.
